Hi! I’m Garrison Riegel

I’m a licensed master electrician and nationally certified solar installer. Over the past 17 years I have overseen the design and installation of more than 1,100 residential and commercial photovoltaic (PV) systems in Illinois. Chicago is where I was born and raised, but I spent most of my teenage years living and working on a farm in rural Wisconsin and then Pennsylvania. These were not just any farms but diversified agricultural systems that nurtured the land while feeding hundreds of local families. A key part of the farm’s mission was to incorporate special needs youth and adults into the agricultural work, where they became productive and important members of the local community. This connection of people and nature through hard and meaningful work helped form my perspective and work ethic.
